WiFi Band App Review
WiFi Band is a free Android app developed by Igorlazunna that provides information about the radio bandwidth and SSID of the connected WiFi network. This app is particularly useful in enterprise scenarios where multiple access points with more than one radio bandwidth are enabled, or in home scenarios where dual radio APs are used.
Apart from providing the radio bandwidth and SSID of the connected WiFi network, WiFi Band also provides a list of other nearby APs, radio and IP details of the connected AP, as well as radio details of other nearby APs such as SSID, BSSID, signal level, channel, radio frequency, and AP capabilities.
As an experimental feature, WiFi Band lets the user decide if it shall prefer the 5GHz AP when available. Overall, WiFi Band is a useful app that provides relevant information about the connected WiFi network and nearby APs, making it easier for the user to manage their WiFi connections.
